With one year now in the books, Megan Barry has stuck largely to the script she campaigned on, her top
supporters say, while becoming perhaps the most visible mayor that Nashville has ever had.
On the education front, Barry’s office earlier this year partnered with the nonprofit Nashville Public Education Foundation, a process that helped the school board in hiring Joseph, who started his job in July.
