Policy and Programming Director
Jennifer grew up in Knoxville and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with the B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee and an M.Ed in educational leadership from National Louis University in Chicago. Her work experience includes a stint as Director of Client Implementations with Asurion and a variety of roles, including Director of Talent and Performance Management at KIPP Nashville. She also served as Program Director of the Ayers Institute for Teacher Learning and Innovation at Lipscomb University. After managing the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville’s Education strategy and investment portfolio, Jennifer joined the Nashville Public Education Foundation in 2017 to direct their policy and programming initiatives.
Jennifer is a proud public school graduate and parent. She is a past president of the Junior League of Nashville and has served on the boards of McNeilly Center for Children, Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and CASA, Inc. She currently serves on the Board of Trust for the Nashville Children’s Theatre. She continues to work to increase college access for first generation attendees by volunteering as a mentor for tnAchieves and advising the board of Epicenter. She enjoys reading, cooking, hiking in Percy Warner Park and exploring the world with her children, Lev and Eliana.
