For the second year in a row, Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools’s music education program, Music Makes Us, is being recognized as being one of the country’s top music education programs! The NAMM Foundation announced that the district has been designated as one of its Best Communities for Music Education.
The partnership between the Nashville Public Education Foundation, Metro Nashville Public Schools, and including other educational institutes around the city, gives public school students the chance to participate in “traditional school music while adding a contemporary curriculum that embraces new technologies and reflects a diverse musical landscape.”
