Nashville schools lay out plan to target ELL needs

A recent report by the Nashville Public Education Foundation also shows the number of ELL students will grow.

Metro Schools has seen its English-languageĀ learner population grow by more than 50 percent since 2009.

District officials presented Tuesday a vision in how to meet the needs of those students into the future. Metro schoolĀ board members said the vision will need financial backing and some fine-tuning before it can be executed.
