As Shawn Joseph makes his transition away from Prince George’s County and into Nashville, there will be plenty for the new superintendent to do when he hits the ground.
Joseph, who is the Maryland-area schools’ deputy superintendent, will begin his job as Nashville schools director July 1. Already, he has started his transition into the city by announcing meet-and-greet sessions with the community to help define his first 100 days on the job. The meetings are not yet scheduled.
