Tech Goes Home provides technology training and free laptops to families to help address the digital divide.

Based on a statewide model, NPEF’s Tech Goes Home program is a partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools and Tech Goes Home TN that engages families in training sessions on digital literacy after which families receive a free Chromebook laptop. Participants also learn how to access the district's Learning Management System to directly engage in their students' learning and communicate with their teachers. MNPS’s Equity Roadmap helps determine communities that would benefit most from the program by identifying schools with the least access to resources and opportunities.
