After his brief jig, he distances himself from the circle, laughs and then thoughtfully surveys the room during a May tour of the facility — taking in what will likely be his last time at the pre-K center.
For Register, Nashville’s director of schools, he hopes the expansion of Metro’s pre-K program will be a major part of his legacy.
