Second Nashville superintendent search restarts Friday

The first step in Nashville’s second search for a new director of schools will kick off Friday with its task force nailing down a timeline and discussing its purpose.

Helping host and lead the 17-member group’s first meeting and discussions will be the Nashville Public Education Foundation, which over the past couple of years has taken a more active role in helping Nashville focus in on its education goals. The foundation, along with Mayor Megan Barry’s Office, is co-chairing the Director of Schools Search Advisory Committee.
