There have been several times during the second iteration of the Metro schools director search that have, quite incongruously, made me think about the 1983 coming of age movie “Risky Business,” which was the film that launched Tom Cruise’s career.
The most recent recollection came when the school board’s search consultant, Jim Huge, sent a memorandum to the board covering the final phase of the search, which begins with the announcement of the suggested finalists at the board’s Tuesday meeting.
