How an Old Murfreesboro City Schools Bus Became a Library on Wheels

MPFIn The Spotlight

What do you do with an old school bus? Why not turn it into a library! Murfreesboro City Schools has done that, converting grant money and donated books into a traveling library on wheels. The Books On a Bus, or “BOB” contains over 1,000 books for students to read, borrow or take for their own, aiming to combat the summer learning loss that can often happen, resulting in some students’ being months or years behind their peers each school year. The BOB will travel around the city stopping at apartment complexes and community centers to bring books right to students and their families. Read more about BOB here!
