Kate Chinn
As VP, Head of Community and Civic Engagement for AllianceBernstein, Kate Chinn leads the global corporate philanthropy strategy, overseeing corporate giving, community engagement and civic responsibility. From 2015 to 2018, Chinn served as a senior vice president at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, overseeing investor relations and marketing. From 2007 to 2015, she served as senior director of marketing at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Chinn graduated Phi Beta Kappa and holds a BA in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Originally from Nashville, she returned in 2015 with her husband and their three children.

Alfred Degrafinreid II
Alfred Degrafinreid II has broad work experience as a public administrator on the local, state and federal levels of government, as well as expertise in higher education administration. He currently works for Vanderbilt University as Associate Vice Chancellor for Community Relations, directing local government and community relations. Degrafinreid attained the Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Administration degrees from one of the greatest HBCU’s in the land, Tennessee State University. He also attained the Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He is married (Tiffany) with two children, Alfred III (5) and Chancellor Joelle (2).
